I am a huge fan of fish stores and I went here to check out the selection. The manager was super unprofessional and rude. They should of given me the price and I would of known for next time if they said this was one time only. I was very disappointed and told them I will never be coming back. However, at the register it rang up $10.00 more!!! They said I was told wrong and the tag was wrong. The price they gave me on the phone matched the price tag on the bag. I went here looking for a specific food and I knew they had it because I called over the phone to check and asked the price. I just moved out to the Falls and always will support local "mom and pop" stores in the area. The only reason I pay $6 for a bone is because they usually last a long time, not just one bite.
The manager was very rude and unsympathetic and told me that this happens all the time and would not take the bone back and basically accused me of lying by telling me she could tell the bone had been chewed on for a long time. The clerk told me to speak to the manager so I waited for about 10 minutes. I went back to Blackwinds with it to return it and purchase some other items. Luckly I was there to take it away from her. This is the first time this has ever happened in the 10 years of giving them to my dog. Purchased a $6.00 bone for my bulldog, on the first bite it splintered into shards.
